Dar Kawa

The Hidden Design Gem

The Story
Dar Kawa is owned and renovated to the smallest detail by Belgian born textile and interior designer Valerie Barkowski. You will find Valerie’s touches everywhere from the bed linens to the furniture in every corner.

Valerie has restored the riad back to how it looked in 17th century and a splash of Moroccan colours are found on pared back modern monochrome throughout the riad. You can see Valerie’s daily inspirations on her blog here.

Dar Kawa holds only three suites and one room which makes a perfect escape from lively spice market just few steps away.
